Introduction

The Clinical Innovation and Research Center (CIC) of the National Cheng Kung University Hospital works with clinical teams, research teams and enterprises to drive the interdisciplinary research projects in the areas of Smart Medicine, Precision Medicine and Hospital without Wall.

CIC aims to create an open innovation platform. CIC collaborates with academia research teams and industry partners to foster innovative ideas and increase the value of research projects. Besides, CIC provides a research incubation environment with co-working spaces, computing infrastructure, software tools, data management, education and training, and team matching events for researchers.

CIC conducts academic conferences to share research findings and exchange medical information in order to contribute to the research community.

Executive Strategy

-Accelerate the adoption of advanced AI technologies in the medical industry.

-Strengthen the verification and the application of clinical trials and studies.

-Create the AI-assisted medical imaging and automatic inference platform. CIC engineers provide technical training and consultation to the users.

-Establish a sustainable model of industry-academia cooperation. CIC project managers offer services, such as team matching, proposal review, intellectual property (IP) consultation, business model evaluation, fund raising assistance.

-Promote National Science and Technology Program.
